Client Advocacy
CCFV provides one on one advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking and interpersonal violence of any kind. Staff can help you identify types of abuse, walk you through personalized safety plans, or simply provide a compassionate source of confidential listening and support.
Financial Assistance
CCFV can provide the following when/if funding allows:
emergency hotel stays
gas and food
animal assistance
diapers and formula
relocation assistance
temporary bill assistance
cell phones and refillable cards
24/7 Crisis Line
In addition to in-person advocacy, CCFV staff and volunteers offer year-round 24 hours crisis-line access. This service is available 365 days a year.
Referral Services
In an effort to fulfill the many resources needed in an individual's journey CCFV strives to keep up-to-date resources and contact lists. From financial resources to training and legal services we attempt to supply as many useful referrals as possible.
Court Document Filing
Assistance with FVPO (family violence protection orders) and Stalking Protection Orders is available in our office or agreed upon setting. Knowledgeable staff can walk you through the process, help you assess document needs and accompany you to all hearings. We also provide notary services on site.
Prevention Education Programs
CCFV believes deeply in the power of education. Through in-school presentations, newsletter, blog and newspaper publications we hope to reach as large an audience as possible on a regular basis.
